Leonardo Beltran, head instructor of the school has worked in Hollywood California for various studios including Dreamworks, Nokia, Avaya, Summit Entertainment and Imagi Studios. Leo has worked as a character designer, storyboard artist and illustrator. He has also studied in some of the most prestigious art schools in the United States of America. The Pasadena Art Center College of Design, the American animation Institute, The Santa Monica Academy of Entertainment and Technology as well as the renowned Rowland Animation School in Southern California.

Mr.Beltran has worked on several feature films both animated and live action as well as commercials and television shows. Leonardo Beltran has taught at many schools throughout his career including the Los Angeles school of Art and Music, The Honokaa School on the Big Island of Hawaii and the University of the Nations Film school. He has been personally mentored by masters such as the late Chuck Jones of Warner Bros Animation, Glen Vilppu, Master figure drawing artist and Disney feature animation artist, Karl Gnass, Disney storyboard and figure artist.

Leonard has followed the incredible animation curriculum developed by animation educational veteran Dave Masters. Leonardo Beltran continues his legacy to this day, training students in the lost art of character animation as represented by the golden age of Disney animation from the 1940’s to the modern vector character animation to 3d computer graphics. He concentrates on concepts and skills and stresses the importance of creativity and skilled imagination rather than just learning software. Leo Beltran currently works and resides in Bangalore India visiting his hometown in Hollywood, California to recruit well known animation industry guest instructors for his school.
